The Mesa United Way will begin accepting applications on Nov. 1 from qualified nonprofit organizations for funding from its 2010-11 Community Care Fund.
Agencies must attend one of three pre-application meetings and demonstrate compliance with basic eligibility criteria. Applications are due by 3 p.m. Jan. 8, 2010. The meetings are scheduled for: 9 a.m. Oct. 16 at the Girl Scout Headquarters, 119 E. Coronado Road, Phoenix; 9:30 a.m. Oct. 20 at the Mesa United Way Office, 137 E. University Drive, Mesa; and 9 a.m. Oct. 23 at the Mesa United Way Office. Organizations interested in submitting proposals for the 2010-11 funding year are requested to confirm plans to attend one of these sessions by calling (480) 834-2104.
