The Arizona Museum for Youth is going to the dogs — and the cats, the birds and the hamsters, too.
Veterinarian Jaime Glasser, DVM, will talk to kids ages 4 and up about being a responsible pet owner from 10:30 a.m. to noon Saturday. Kids Ask the veterinarian questions about pet care, pet behavior and tips on how to keep your pet healthy.
If you think a pet may be in your future, the museum will also welcome representatives from several Valley animal rescue organizations 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 23. They will present information on the adoption process and offer tips and advice for choosing the right pet.
Both events are free with paid admission. The Arizona Museum for Youth is located at 35 N. Robson St., Mesa.
