Mesa Public Schools employee receives award for immunization efforts

Mesa Public Schools employee Nadine Miller recently received an award for promoting children’s health and safety.

Miller, who is the director of the district’s Health Services and Audiology Department, received the Hot Shot Award from the Arizona Partnership for Immunization at an event on April 23. She earned the recognition for emphasizing immunization program that has led to the administration of 51,348 flu shots in the district over the last 10 years.
