Mesa children between the ages of six and 12 can enter i.d.e.a Museum’s drawing contest for a chance to win one of four prize packs.

Councilmember Chris Glover is hosting the art contest in which children can draw a picture of their favorite place or thing in Mesa.

“This is a unique opportunity for all the young, talented artists in Mesa to share their favorite parts of our city with their community,” Glover said in a press release.

All entries will be digitally displayed at the i.d.e.a Museum as part of a special exhibition and the winners will be recognized at a Mesa City Council meeting. The contest will run from Feb. 10 until March 21. The winners of the contest will be announced April 1 and the exhibit will run through Sept. 1.

Drawings should be competed on an 8.5 by 11 piece of paper and can be dropped off in-person at Mesa City Plaza; located at 20 E. Main St. Drawings may also be submitted by mail to:
