Members of Mesa’s First United Methodist Church plan to become “the hands and feet of Jesus in meeting real needs” on April 3 when they help out the community and Guerrero Elementary School.

According to a news release, that day’s service projects include: painting playground equipment, planting plants, covering library books with plastic, and sorting shoes and socks for Guerrero kids; making snack kits for the needy, health kits for the Center Against Family Violence, cookies for nearby police and fire stations, and knotted blankets for people who are sick; and worship outreach.

If you’d like to help out, call the church office at (480) 969-5577.
