The organization Chicktime Mesa is seeking women volunteers to help kids recovering from abuse or neglect at Mesa’s Child Crisis Center. Whatever your passion may be — cooking, gardening, crafts, mechanics, sports, banking — Chicktime can help you turn your interests into something that serves children in need.

According to the ad on volunteermatch.org, through Chicktime, "Each monthly leader identifies her gift ... something she loves to do ... her vocation, her hobby, or just something she would like to develop ... then develop a way to teach that skill or passion to the other chicks and the children your group serves." The Mesa chapter partners with the Child Crisis Center, with the goal of ensuring each child gets the chance "to bloom, to become loving and loved, and to help them fill their hearts and minds with endless dreams and possibilities."

Hours are flexible. To volunteer, contact Stacy Breckenridge at (480) 699-7517. For more information on Chicktime Mesa, visit http://www.chicktime.org/az-mesa/mesa-news/.
