Mesa police are investigating a shooting that took place about 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Spokesman Sgt. Edward Wessing released a statement saying officers were sent to a home in the 1300 block of North 24th Street after someone reported hearing gunshots. In a driveway they found a man lying next to a truck with gunshot wounds, saying he had arrived at the house and a Hispanic male in his mid-20s came out and shot him.
Neighbors reported seeing someone running from the home in various directions, while some saw a tan car speeding off. SWAT team officers were called to the home, which was found to be empty, but there was evidence that the shooting had taken place inside the home.
The shooting victim underwent surgery and is expected to survive.

The police need to identify and arrest these dirty "bangers" and lock them up forever. People who SHOOT (obviously for no good reason) people need to be removed from society to do hard time forever.

You are aware that the police dont get to "lock them up forever". that is a different branch of government that decides on that. Chances are the police have in fact arrested the suspect before, probiblly more than once. But that other branch of government seems to keep letting these guys out.
