A water line leak Thursday morning that restricted traffic for about eight hours to two lanes on westbound Baseline Road, west of Alma School Road, is fixed.
Mesa spokesman Ian Satter said city crews were able to fix a small brass fitting that had come loose from a water pipe and wasn’t screwed in fully. There was no damage to the pipe, he added.
The restriction had also impacted motorists headed northbound on Alma School turning west onto Baseline.
