East Valley kids take on X-Games Thursday

Skateboarders Jagger Eaton and Trey Wood, from Mesa’s Kids that Rock!, will be competing in the X Games 2012 Big Air Elimination competition live 9 p.m. Thursday on ESPN, Cox channel 32.
The two boys, both 11-years-old, will compete in the Big Air event known for its huge ramp and namesake big air. Eaton is the youngest ever to compete in the event, sparking an online controversy over age limits.
If Eaton and Wood make it through eliminations, the Big Air finals will be shown live 9 p.m. Friday on ESPN, Cox channel 32 or in high definition on channel 1032.
