Mesa’s Mountain Vista Medical Center announced that the Arizona Department of Health Services/Division of Trauma has named it a Provisional Level III Trauma Center.
Mountain Vista underwent an evaluation by both the Arizona Department of Health Service/Division of Trauma and the American College of Surgeons (ACS) and was granted Provisional Level III Trauma Center status for the next 16 months.
“The commitment of our emergency department, physicians, nurses and hospital staff has earned Mountain Vista several accreditations by consistently providing patients with high quality care,” said CEO Tony Marinello.
