Here is the picture of Colby Snead, 7, of Apache Junction and his sister, Brandy Williams, who helped him with his T-shirt drawing at the “Eat, Dine and T-Shirt Design Contest” at Culver’s restaurant last month. Colby, who drew four turtles, won the T-shirt design contest out of about 100 entries, and his drawing will be put on thousands of T-shirts for the participants at the 8th Annual ZooWalk for Autism and Aspergers Syndrome Research on Oct. 6 at the Phoenix Zoo. FYI being autistic does not mean being useless, not talented, or to be left alone because there's no hope. It's sort of like everyone else, but with some weaknesses which need to be worked with. When everyone realizes that people with disabilities are useful members of society, society will be better.
