A new full-service hospital is half-way built for the community of Florence. The last steel beam was installed Friday for Florence Hospital at Anthem. When complete later this year, the hospital will have a $15 million payroll and 225 jobs.
The two-story, 96,000-square-foot Florence Hospital at Anthem is set to open this December as a 58-bed facility with 20 emergency beds, 34 multi-purpose beds, and 4 ICU beds. Its sister facility is Gilbert Hospital.
