Phoenix Children’s Hospital will host a free Stewards of Children child abuse prevention class 2-5 p.m. today at the Rosenberg Medical Plaza, Cohen Conference Center, 1920 E. Cambridge Road, located on the Phoenix Children’s main campus.
The training was developed by Darkness to Light, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to the prevention of child sexual abuse. The workshop is designed to educate adults on how to prevent, recognize and react responsibly to child sexual abuse and emphasizes child safety as an adult’s responsibility.
