Mesa’s Banner Desert Medical Center earned a spot on the top hospitals list from The Leapfrog Group this year.
According to a release, the selection is based, “on the results of the Leapfrog Group’s annual hospital survey, which measures hospitals’ performance on patient safety and quality, focusing on three critical areas of hospital care: how patients fare, resource use, and management structures in place to prevent errors.”
“Our top priority is to provide our patients with exceptional care, service and safety,” said Rob Gould, CEO of Banner Desert Medical Center. “Our entire medical team and our volunteers take pride in their work, and we’re honored that the local community has entrusted us with their health care needs.”
More than 1,200 hospitals participated in the annual survey.
