Children in need will receive needed dental treatment and care this month as part of the Arizona Dental Foundation’s Give Kids a Smile. This year, the foundation will provide more than 1,200 children from low-income schools free restorative care through statewide activities.
Mesa’s Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health at A.T. Still University will treat 300 children from the Mesa Unified School District during its event Feb. 15. In the past seven years, students at the school have provided more than $1 million in charity care to children in need.
