The Gilbert Unified School District is creating a suicide prevention program for students in grades five through 12.
Parents will have a chance to preview the materials tonight from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the district's community education building, 6839 E. Guadalupe Road, Mesa. The preview is for adults only.
Parents will have an opportunity to opt-out of the program. For more information, contact Susan Cadena, Gilbert school's K-12 Prevention Coordinator, at (480) 545-2181.

It's scary to think what those administrators could do to someone who reports a child expressed suicidal thoughts.
If it's a Gilbert Public Schools program like the anti-bullying program, watch out. The teacher who reported bullying is getting fired. Check out http://westernconnections.com/
