Gilbert is seeking community input on its parks and recreation plan. The town is working with residents, a Master Plan Steering Committee and the Parks, Recreation and Library Advisor Board to update its master plan.

A public workshop will be 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Aug. 18 at Southeast Regional Library, 775 N. Greenfield Road. The community can learn about the programs offered by the department and the town’s amenities and discuss what it could all look like in the future.

Information can be found online at gilbertaz.gov/parksmasterplan.
