Higley Unified School District invites veterans, families, students, school officials and community leaders to its fifth annual Veterans Day Celebration at 9 a.m. Nov. 9.
The celebration draws thousands of visitors and includes the American Legion, Buffalo Soldiers, Patriot Guard Riders, music by Higley High School students, a flyover, a POW/MIA ceremony, and speeches.
The event will be held at Higley High School’s football stadium, 4068 E. Pecos Road, Gilbert.
