The tranquility of the Islands Community might look like it’s right out of a piece of art. Conveniently, it now plans to showcase some of the region’s top artists this fall.
The Islands Community is accepting applications for artists to participate in its upcoming “Art in the Park” event, scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 3 and Sunday, Nov. 4 at the Islands Community Park.
Artists interested in showcasing — and selling — their work are required to fill out the online application by July 9 to be considered.
Art in the Park will feature a selection of “gallery-quality” fine art and crafts, while also hosting a children’s area, food court, and beer and wine garden. The park is located at 825 S. Islands Drive.
