Brighton Collectibles at San Tan Village in Gilbert has Chosen EVIT’s BAMM program as its charity this year. The store will host a kick-off party 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Sunday, June 2, and will give 20 percent of everything sold that evening to the Broadcasting/Audio Production & Media Marketing (BAMM) program.
And, through July 31, for every $58 Independence Charm Holder Bracelet and each $48 Americana I.D. Bracelet sold, Brighton will contribute 50 percent of the retail cost to BAMM.
The company’s 172 stores have each selected a 501(c)(3) charity program or local school for the fundraiser to help strengthen arts in each community. The kick-off parties raise thousands of dollars each year for each store’s charity of choice.
Through the East Valley Institute of Technology’s BAMM program, high school students have the opportunity to train at The Goldmine 90.7 FM and 92.7 FM radio station. The students gain experience in day-to-day operations of the music business in audio production, radio advertising, promotions, image branding and news writing.
