Gilbert police and the Arizona Crime Prevention Association will host a free child identification and fingerprinting clinic on Thursday.
The event, which is for children 3 and older, will be 3 to 5 p.m. at police headquarters, 75 E. Civic Center Drive.
By using the latest technology, the event will provide parents a way to store vital statistics on their children for safety purposes. Parents will receive a laminated identification card with their child’s information as well as a CD that contains digital fingerprints, photographs and voice recognition files.
Registration with the child’s name is required at (480) 635-7520 or kim.kelly@gilbertaz.gov.

THAT'S RIGHT GET THEM USE TO IT AND GET A GOOD RECORD OF WHO IS WHO AND WE WILL BE ABLE TO CONTROL THE POPULATION BETTER. BIG BROTHER IS ALIVE AND WELL. DON'T THINK HE WON'T COME AFTER YOU AND YOURS. IF YOU REMEMBER HISTORY AND PUT TWO AND TWO TOGETHER. WHAT IS HAPPENING NOW IS LIKE THE WORLD WAS GOING THROUGH IN THE 20'S AND 30'S LEADING UP TO THE WORLD WAR 2. I SEE 3 ON THE HORIZON BEWARE PEOPLE , HISTORY DOES REPEAT ITSELF.
