An Olathe, Kan., planning administrator has been named as Gilbert’s new planning and development services manager, and a current Chandler customer services supervisor has been named the town’s new customer services manager.
Kyle Mieras will fill the long-vacant planning director position on June 25, at an annual salary of $100,000.
Susan Thompson was named administrative and customer services manager, effective June 11, a position that pays $65,000 annually.
The appointments follow national searches conducted by CPS Executive Search of Sacramento, Calif.
In a news release, Town Manager George Pettit said the two candidates were selected due to their leadership, professional and education experience in dealing with booming cities.
