Over the River and Through the Woods
When a young New Jersey man announces to his grandparents that
he’s taking a dream job in Seattle, the old folks — who have their
grandson over for dinner every Sunday — cook up a scheme to keep
him from leaving the nest. It’s the plot of “Over the River and
Through the Woods,” a play opening Friday at Gilbert’s
award-winning Hale Centre Theatre.
