Teachers and staff at Gilbert Unified School District’s Canyon Rim Elementary School can now take advantage of a wellness program on site.
The school recently received a $1,500 grant through the Maricopa County Health Department to provide staff with monthly classes covering a variety of health topics.
The first wellness class taught teachers and staff about tension release exercises to help manage stress.
