This year, salute our independence with a musical celebration.
Gilbert will be hosting a musical tribute in honor of Independence Day at 7:30 p.m. July 1 at St. Mary Magdalene Church.
The even free event, A Musical Celebration of Life, Liberty and Freedom, by Gilbert and East Valley musicians will include the Posting of the Colors by the American Legion Post No. 39, as well as numbers by the East Valley Lamplighter’s Barbershop Chorus, a community choir and other local musicians. Veterans are encouraged to attend so that they can be recognized during the performance. St. Mary Magdalene Church is located at 2654 E. Williams Field Rd., Gilbert.
