Gilbert has announced a sixth finalist in its town manager search: William Reynolds, a deputy administrator in Washtenaw County, Mich.
The other finalists are Marc Skocypec, Gilbert assistant town manager; David Andrews, Scottsdale assistant city manager; Patrick Banger, a consulting firm owner and former city manager of O'Fallon, Mo.; Thomas DeSantis, a management consultant and former Riverside, Calif., city manager; Tim Pickering, former Fountain Hills manager and current interim manager of Tusayan, a recently-incorporated town near the Grand Canyon.
On June 17, the six will receive a "problem assignment" and present a solution to the Council. That session will take place 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the Council Chambers and is open to the public.
On June 18, candidates will be interviewed by three panels: the Council, town executive team and community members.
