Families can receive a free child safety kit 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at TruWest Credit Union, 207 E. Williams Field Road, Gilbert. The event, hosted by Boys & Girls Clubs of the East Valley, 3TV, TruWest Credit Union and DNA LifePrint, is open to the public.
Parents will receive a set of their children’s fingerprints, along with a high resolution photo to help law enforcement officials if their kids ever go missing.
The event will also feature fun activites like facepainting and kids can have their picture taken on a fire engine from the Gilbert Fire Department.
