Gilbert residents, if you’re going on vacation, don’t forget to let the Gilbert Police Department know about your plans.

The police department can offer extra patrol to check on your property under the Vacation Watch Program. Please remember to place your request at least one week prior to your absence.

Keep in mind that the program is not for vacations that last longer than eight weeks or homes for sale. If you’re going to be gone for longer than eight weeks, you must resubmit at the end of each eight week period.

Complete and submit a Request Vacation Watch online at www.gilbertaz.gov/eservices/police or call the Crime Prevention Unit at (480)503-6527 to complete one.
