The annual "Furry Tails Can Come True" dinner and auction will be held for Gilbert's Friends for Life Animal Rescue in Tempe Saturday, Feb. 25.

Join other animal lovers for an evening of celebration, including silent and live auctions, cocktail hour, dinner and dancing. All funds raised will benefit Friends for Life and further its mission to shelter and provide medical care for homeless cats and dogs.

The non-profit, volunteer-run, no-kill shelter, is located in downtown Gilbert and has handled hundreds of adoptions each year since 1993. It provides medical care for injured abandoned or stray animals.

Please RSVP to the event at http://furrytails2012.eventbrite.com. The event will be held 6-10 p.m. at The Buttes, A Marriott Resort, located at 2000 Westcourt Way, Tempe.
