The Pinal County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help locating a suspect who fled the scene of a three vehicle collision near Hunt Highway and Gary Road in San Tan Valley Saturday, March 29.

A 2004 Dodge Truck ran a red light heading southbound on Gary Road at Hunt Highway and struck the passenger side of a 2007 Infinity Sedan heading westbound causing the sedan to strike an SUV, PCSO said.

The driver and passenger in the sedan suffered very serious injuries and were transported to a medical facility.

Immediately after the collision, the driver of the Dodge fled the scene on foot, PCSO said.

Authorities found open can of beers in the center console and in the cab of the Dodge truck, PCSO said.

“There is little doubt this collision was alcohol related,” PCSO Sheriff Paul Babeu said. “The driver of the truck after causing this collision ran from the scene instead of staying to help the victims injured.”

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact PCSO at 520-866-5111.
