Celebrate one of Arizona’s top birding sites at the 2012 Feathered Friends Festival, a family-friendly event from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 24 at the Riparian Preserve at Water Ranch.

The event will offer over 30 wildlife booths and exhibits, as well as educational activities, games and crafts about insects, plants, water, reptiles, birds and more. There will also be food, music, birding experiences and tours of the preserve. Donations are requested; either $2 for each person or $8 for families of four or more.

Parking for the festival is available in the Medical Center Plaza at 2450 and 2550 E. Guadalupe, and LDS church at 2700 E. Guadalupe Road, located near the southeast corner of Greenfield and Guadalupe roads. For more information, visit http://evtnow.com/2j7.
