Grads from Higley schools in Gilbert earn $23 million in scholarship funds

The 2014 graduating class from Higley High and Williams Field High received $23 million in scholarship money.

The 700 students were accepted to all three state schools — Arizona State University, Northern Arizona University and University of Arizona —as well as University of California, Princeton University, The Air Force Academy, University of San Diego, Colorado State University, Brigham Young University- Provo, Hofstra University and Grand Canyon University.

Several students are still waiting on scholarship results, but graduates from Higley High School received $9,916,404 in scholarship money, while graduates from Williams Field High School received $13,101,878.
