The San Tan Crown Rotary Club of Chandler makes it a priority to help out the local community, including the children who attend St. Peter's Mission Indian School on the Gila River Indian Community. This year, the club provided scholarships for six children to attend St. Peter's.

According to a news release, the club has helped the school in the past, but this year was able to provide scholarships through local support of a Bingo Bonanza fundraiser. Now the club is gearing up for its next Bingo Bonanza from 6:30 to 9 p.m., Nov. 3 at the Hilton Phoenix-Chandler, 2929 W. Frye Road.
