Assuming when you ask for more money for Education, you are on the stance that there isn't rife waste in the current system. I believe there is. Don't think for a moment that if this goes to the ballot and is passed that they won't be back looking for more. "Whatever it is, it isn't enough and of course it is for the children". This is probably what they teach you on the first day of your Education degree.

Any hopes Bennett had to be elected Governor in 2014 have gone far, far away. He chose in this case to side with the No Tax No Time No Where contingent -- in other words, the base of the state Republican party -- when he could've sided with the almost 300,000 who signed the petitions.

Wrong side of the issue and wrong side of history.

And wrong guy for the job. Mesa's Scott Smith is a Republican conservative that could attract the independent voters if he ran for Governor.

His problem, though, is he won't play footsie with the crazies in his party.

Watch there hands very closely as the GOP legislature starts moving the shells around. When they get done, the money will be given to their beloved private voucher system that has already drained out the State education funds. Do you know that even school teachers can only deduct $300/year of what they spend in their classrooms for supplies? If they wanted to donate any amount to private schools, they can deduct dollar for dollar that they donate to private education. The GOP will not be done with Arixzona's education until it is all privitized, with the poor only being able to afford on line K-12 which the rich will get a real education. How in the world can they keep these RW ideas sold if they cant keep the constituants stupid.
