More than 6,000 ASU students to graduate this week

More than 6,000 students will graduate from Arizona State University this semester.

More than 1,300 graduate students and 4,700 undergraduates will receive their degrees, according to an ASU press release.

The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences will graduate 1,878 Sun Devils, along with 589 new educators from the Mary Lou Fulton Teachers college. And, 328 students from the College of Technology and Innovation and 136 students from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication will also receive their degrees.

The commencement ceremonies will be webcast live and President Michael Crow will be the commencement speaker at both the graduate ceremony, 3:30 p.m. Dec. 19, and the undergraduate ceremony, 8:30 a.m. Dec. 20, both at Wells Fargo Arena.
