Liberty Arts Academy’s school leader Cheri Wasiel gives a hug to student Lilly Watson. The Mesa school surprised Lilly at her Gilbert home this summer after learning she had scored a perfect 100 percent on the Arizona’s Instrument to Measure Standards (AIMS) reading test. Lilly, who starts fourth grade in August, has been with Liberty Arts Academy since preschool.
