The East Valley Institute of Technology’s Early Childhood Education Program has received accreditation from the National Association for the Education of Young Children.

EVIT hosts the Maricopa County Head Start Program, an early childhood development program that provides education, health and social services to young children of low-income families.

Head Start employees run the program, and EVIT students in the Early Childhood Education Program get hands-on experience working with the children.
