The ninth annual Westwood Social Powwow will be 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday at Mesa’s Westwood High School, 945 W. Eighth St. Admission is free. Everyone is welcome.
Celebrate Native American culture and traditions. Enjoy drums, dances, lunch and dinner. The event features gourd dances at 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Grand entries are set for noon and 6 p.m.
Supper entertainment includes the Cibecue Traditional School Dancers, artists from Full Scale Productions and the Westwood Navajo Basket Dancers.
The powwow also features food vendors, and arts and crafts booths.
