Paragon Science Academy in Chandler is launching the Haiku 4 Haiti program.

The Haiku 4 Haiti program encourages students from kindergarten through eighth grade to write a Haiku that relates to the devastating earthquake in Haiti and the resulting flood of aid and empathy, or world togetherness.

These poems are being compiled into a publication, which will go on sale for $10 donation checks made out directly to the American Red Cross.

Other schools, companies or people looking to participate or contribute can contact Tania Sheppard at (480) 815-1600.
