School boards association selects new director

Timothy Ogle, superintendent of schools in one of Indiana's fastest growing school districts, will take over Feb. 6 as the executive director for the Arizona School Boards Association.

Ogle was selected by the ASBA board after a competitive national search. His experience includes working as a superintendent, curriculum director, principal and teacher. He is currently superintendent in Avon, Ind., a K-12 district with 8,700 students. He holds a bachelor's degree in education and master's degree in school administration from Indiana University, an Ed.S. from Ball State University, and a Ph.D. in school administration from Indiana State University.

ASBA is a private, nonprofit organization that represents more than 1,200 school board members and more than 1 million Arizona children.
