Tempe’s Getz Elementary School was one of 10 in the state to be awarded a $1,000 classroom supply grant from McDonald’s Restaurants of Arizona.
The funds will be used by teachers to purchase math, science and literacy materials to enhance classroom.
Applications for the McDonald’s Classroom Supply Grants were judged on classroom need, number of students, creativity and ability to make good use of supplies.
