Abigail Gerber, 11, of Mesa's Hale Elementary School, has been selected as a Scholastic News Kid Reporter in the Valley.
Abigail may be seen at local media events wearing the red Kid Reporter polo shirt. She is one of 42 new Kid Reporters across the U.S., Canada and Mexico to be chosen from nearly 200 applicants this year.
Now in its 10th year, the Scholastic News Kids Press Corps delivers news for kids, by kids. Stories are published on the Scholastic News Kids Press Corps site and in issues of Scholastic News® classroom magazines.
