On Good Friday, Feed My Starving Children invites church groups and families to pack meals funded by their own donations to feed the poor.

Tempe’s Feed My Starving Children packing sites will join six other sites nationwide and welcome volunteers who bring a required $50 donation on Good Friday, March 29. Fifty dollars is the value of a box of 216 meals.

Normally, the nonprofit group encourages donations to cover food costs, but does not require them. The organization is not changing that policy for its regular packing sessions.

Children ages 5 and older are welcome with adults.

For information, see fmsc.org.

    Earth to Leon . . .

Feed My Starving Children DOES help hungry kids here in the U.S.A., having provided over 9,000,000 meals to poor American kids.

Good Lord, read something once in awhile, Leon.

    Folks,

We have starving children right here in America. In small towns, large cities and Indian Reservations.

WHY WOULD AN AMERCIAN SPEND ....$50....TO SEND FOOD TO HUNGRY CHILDREN IN .....70 FOREIGN COUNTRIES........WHEN THAT ...$50...COULD BE SPENT TO...........SAVE AMERICAN CHILDREN.

THE BIBLE TEACHES US THAT........"CHARITY BEGINS AT HOME"

Welcome!
