Two schools in the Chandler Unified School District and two schools in the Mesa Unified School District will receive school supplies through the Salvation Army's 2009 Pack to School drive.

In partnership with American Express and Fry's Food Stores, the drive continues through Aug. 4 to benefit more than 20,000 students from 30 Valley schools.

More than 90 percent of students at each participating school come from low-income families.

The community can support the drive by donating school supplies at any Bank of Arizona, Fry's Food Stores or Mountainside Fitness locations. The Salvation Army is seeking supplies such as backpacks, crayons, colored markers, pens and pencils.
