East Valley multimedia artist and community arts advocate Zarco Guerrero will perform a one-man play in which masks are extensively used from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday in the Chandler-Gilbert Community College Performing Arts Center, 2626 E. Pecos Road.

"Face to Face in a Frenzy" has been performed locally and nationally at theaters, schools, conferences, and before community audiences.

Since 1972, Guerrero has participated in the Artist in Education program of the Arizona Arts Commission and has conducted workshops throughout the United States. He has performed one-man shows in the U.S. and in Mexico, and is the founder of Xicanindio Artes, Inc., a non-profit group dedicated to better understanding of Latino and Native American arts.
