The Mesa Unified School District will host a meeting 6 p.m. Sept. 25 to discuss funding for the district’s American Indian population. The event will be held at the district’s Student Services Center, 1025 N. Country Club Drive, Mesa.
The district serves most of Mesa, part of Chandler and Tempe, unorganized land in Maricopa County, the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community and the Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation.

Old Native-American saying...."you can bring a horse to water but you can't make him (her) drink".
Unless the Native-American students and most importantly, their parents, make "learning" the top priority of Native-American family Life....nothing will change for the better. You can't buy higher test scores with more money.
