The first public reading of recommended changes in the Mesa Unified School District will be made during a governing board study session 5:30 p.m. Thursday in the board room, 549 N. Stapley Drive.
A district committee has been meeting for several months, examining enrollment data to determine the best use of Mesa's schools. The data will help the district decide whether to possibly open new programs or change grade configurations at some schools. No public comment will be allowed during the study session, but a public meeting will be held in the next few weeks.
