Seventeen high school seniors from throughout Arizona have been named winners in the Phoenix Suns Charities’ SunStudents Scholarship program.
Rosaria Strait of Mesa’s Mountain View High School was named winner of the Kevin Johnson Scholar Award and will receive a total of $5,000 in scholarship funds.
East Valley winners of $2,000 scholarships are: Rudy Chen of Ahwatukee Foothills’ Desert Vista High School; and Connie Zuo, Saira Khan and Myles Maietta of Chandler’s Hamilton High School.
