Liberty Arts Academy, a Mesa charter school, will host an "A" celebration picnic at the school Friday to mark the school's rating from the state Department of Education. The school principal will speak and each class will present its "A" poster, created for the event. During the week, older students are writing about, "What does an Arizona grade ‘A' mean to you?" and "What considerations are made when receiving a grade A?"
