Mesa Unified School District is inviting parents to learn more about the district’s sexuality curriculum during two meetings this month.

Parents of ninth-graders can attend 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 15 at Mesa High School auditorium wing, room No. 201, at 1630 E. Southern Ave., Mesa.

Parents of seventh-graders can attend 7 p.m. Aug. 21 in Kino Junior High auditorium, 848 N. Horne, Mesa.

The Mesa district offers lessons to the students on the physiological and psychological aspects of human sexuality. The program encourages sexual abstinence before marriage and emphasizes possible consequences of teenage sexual activity, including pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases. The ninth-grade curriculum also includes the subject of dating-violence prevention.

For more information, parents may call Cindy Maguire or Larry Clouse at (480) 472-0266.

Ah yes, more liberal, state-sponsored, political/moral correctness. Forget about pounding the basics, we need students that will tow the progressive agenda. Social mores needn't be taught in the home, these impressionable minds are to be molded to accept collectivism as their mantra. As these students become fully immersed into the socialist dogma embraced by the college professors of today, we see the results-----POTUS.

K33 etc. you are obviously a right wing troll who has no concept of reality. No one is trying to do any of the things you are saying. Only a lonely, paranoid mind would think that this is the case.
